Roanoke Rugby is hosting a "B Cup" breast cancer fundraising event is this weekend, and Blacksburg is grateful to be one of four clubs involved in the day. As part of the Saturday events, Blacksburg will play Blackwater at 2:00 p.m., while Roanoke will host Virginia at Noon.

After those matches, which are both part of the competitive Virginia Rugby Union Senior Men's Division III schedule, Roanoke will also host a charity match at 4:00 p.m. featuring area players who have raised money to participate. The exhibition match is open to anyone who is able to raise at least $100 in donations for the event. Current and former players from Blacksburg and other area clubs are encouraged to get involved in the exhibition match by raising the requisite $100 and taking part. Other fundraising rewards, raffles, and prizes will also be available at the event, and supporters are encouraged to consider a donation to sponsor a player.
