First Match Postponed Due to Storm
Due to expected inclement weather as a tropical storm approaches the east coast of Virginia, Blacksburg's first fixture of the season has been postponed. The match, orginally scheduled to be played at Newport News Saturday, 6 September, will be rescheduled for later in the year.
Blacksburg's season will instead open with a home fixture against Dan River Saturday, 13 September. All Blacksburg players and supporters are encouraged to attend. In the meantime, Blacksburg wishes Newport News a safe weekend and will look forward to a meeting in more pleasant conditions.
